I am 33 years old Caribbean transartist pirate, Captain of a pirate ship named “La ONG.” Since 2002, “La ONG” is a self-managed cultural space located in Caracas, Venezuela. I was born in 1987 and raised under the influence of the arts and theater. I became a professional photographer at the age of sixteen. Since then, I have been working as an artist, curator, educator, and as cultural promoter. The central axes of my work are power and eroticism from the feminine. My work has been exhibited in Venezuela, Latin America, and Europe. Among them, the following stand out: in Venezuela spaces like Contemporary Art Museum of Zulia (MACZUL); Sala Mendoza; Art Museum of Acarigua-Araure; Art Center El Hatillo; Panoramic Emerging Art in Venezuela 2000-2012, Sala TAC Trasnocho Cultural, and Espacio MAD Los Galpones. As well as No Lugar Arte Contemporáneo (Quito, Ecuador); and Féroces International Photography Festival (Lyon, France), Rizoma (Madrid, España), Festival Hybrid (Madrid, España), Fragments of my Annotations on the Boredom were presented in the 22nd Edition of the Salón Jóvenes con FIA, UCAB, 2019. (Venezuela). I have curatorial work and an annual program of professional workshops.
